Our manager is responsible for the management
and administration of the practice as well as clinical and non-clinical aspects
of your health care. If you have any queries, comments or suggestions about the
services offered by the practice, she will be happy to discuss these with you.
Receptionists - Sharon, Carol, Joanne, Erin
The receptionist is your first point of contact with our practice. Our receptionists
can be contacted Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm by phoning 028 8676
2995 or by calling at the surgery.
The reception staff assist
in the efficient day-to-day running of the practice and support the services we
provide. When you telephone the surgery the receptionist will ask for details.
Strict confidentiality is maintained by all staff on any matter relating to the
health of our patients. Reception staff are here to help you, but their job is
very demanding so please be patient.
Practice Nurses - Oonagh, Valerie
Our practice nurses aim to provide you with an efficient
quality service in a caring and helpful manner. They run health promotion and
chronic disease clinics and can be contacted on 028 8676 2995.
Treatment Room Nurses - Rose, Catherine
Our treatment room nurses are available with
or without an appointment Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm, except Wednesday when
they are available from 9.00am - 1.00pm. Their comprehensive service includes
dealing with wounds and dressings, blood screening, ear syringing, suture removal,
advice on minor ailments, travel and childhood immunisation.
They can be
contacted on 028 8675 8416.
District Nurses
The district nurses provide skilled nursing
care in the patient's own home. They assess needs, give information and carry
out appropriate nursing care. They can be contacted at the health centre at 11.00am
and 4.00pm or by phoning 028 8672 3808. If the district nurse
is not available, a message can be left on their answering machine and they will
contact you.
Community Midwife
The
community midwife provides care and advice during pregnancy and also during the
postnatal period. The midwife runs an antenatal clinic every Thursday from 2.30
- 4.30pm and can be contacted by phoning 028 8672 3800.
Health Visitor
The health visitor has been specially trained to give
health advice on matters relating to family and child health and assess children's
development.
